The Watergarden in Candi Dasa is a hidden paradise with beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and a delicious restaurant offering reasonably priced food. The wooden houses hidden in the water garden create a unique and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the pool area is lush and inviting. The spa services are excellent and affordable.
All was good.

A decent hotel compared to others in the region, however next time I would have chosen a beach side resort although most of them didn't look so good. Rendez vous has tiny rooms and an expensive kitchen. Lotus bungalows is really outdated so pick carefully. Water Garden has a good kitchen, reasonably priced and as a guest you get 20% off the first night and 15% on other nights which includes their other restaurant "The Dining Room" Spa was also good and very reasonably priced.
You had to pay up front incl a 3% credit card charge which is a little annoying because all the other hotels on our trip didn't charge us. Of course you use the restaurant and/ or spa so afterwards you will be paying again. Breakfast was not so fabolous, you order from the menu (8 menu's) but then if you want an American + croissants you'll be paying extra. We had the super deluxe room for 3 nights and then deluxe for 1 night....the only difference is a TV and a bath tub! There is no size difference in the room, bed, bathroom or view (pond with fish). You might want to save yourself the extra money.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, and we loved the attention to detail, like the fresh flower arrangements and the beds turned back each evening with a sweet little spray of flowers. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a lovely pool area and a spa that offered relaxing treatments at great value for money. The staff were wonderful, making us feel like part of the family, and they were always polite and helpful. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, making it easy for us to explore the island.
Nothing to fault.

The hotel is an idyllic and peaceful escape, perfect for a romantic getaway. The traditional cottages offer ultimate privacy, surrounded by interlinked fish ponds filled with lovely creatures. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding, with a wide variety of delectable choices that can be enjoyed either in your room or in the restaurant area. the spa offers exceptional massages at a great price.
The lighting in the room was a bit harsh, which could be solved with the addition of more lamps. the in-room safe was portable, which made me feel a bit uneasy about leaving valuables inside.
